This kiosk should allow the urban doctors to extend their services in rural areas; one doctor should be able to manage multiple patients whenever a machine is manned with a Medical cum technical assistant present at the place of deployment of the health kiosk. With this kind of arrangement at any point in time if there is no patient at a specific health kiosk, then the designated doctor’s skills should be possible to utilize at another health kiosk. With this, a doctor sitting in Mumbai should be able to extend their services across multiple kiosk locations e.g., Chandrapur, Palghar or other parts of Maharashtra. Moreover, as we implement this setup, over a period we should be able to estimate the number of doctors required in a particular shift which will have to be optimized further so as to adequately leverage the skill set of all available doctors.
All the tests, diagnostics are to be made in real-time, also doctors should be able to view diagnostic reports & prescribe medicines in real-time. It should be possible to attach a medical dispensing unit to this health Kiosk. With technical assistants attending the Kiosk, embedded with 53 tests and telemedicine doctors providing remote support, we should be able to deliver high quality services to the citizens.
PMPL has developed Digital Integrated health Kiosk with Telemedicine (DIHKT) and automated Medicine Vending Machine (MVM). With the help of this DIHKT we are able to provide 29 Test without any consumables of patient in less than 5 minutes. In addition to this we are able to conduct minimum 15 Strips based for special dieses investigation.
